From AERO Conference (May 20-24 2015) which had 29 exciting workshops and presentation
Workshop on Mission Hill put forward key CONCEPTS as :
- teachers have full autonomy,
- everyone is important (students + teachers + staff + parents),
- importance of setting up a framework of rules,
- always starting school year by an outside retreat,
- empathy and embracing people,
- do things,
- Importance of governance,
- well acting and kindness as a base
- setting up time for everyone to do what is felt like,
- farm school,
- annual theme being the thread for learning,
- everyone teaching to everyone, everyone learning from everyone,

- provide in depth learning (as opposed to learning to just succeed in testing),
