By working together, the children learn to trust each other and to cooperate. The kids also gain a sense of achievement when they finally manage a new trick. Together with the shows, it teaches them self-confidence and they learn dedication and patience. To keep everyone happy and interested the teachers meet for a debrief after each session and to prepare for the next session. The young people in the Simunye group all get to participate in the shows that we produce. The group also performs in many shows for schools and other organizations.
