Amutat Re’ut, an Israeli NGO established in 1999, promotes pluralistic education and social action as the basis for spiriting forward a youth culture dedicated to Tikun Olam.

Re’ut – meaning friendship – is the realized vision of one of Israel’s most progressive educators, Dr. Aryeh Geiger (z”l), who championed the notion that pluralism must actively taught, adopted and pursued as a way of life if it is to shape attitudinal and behavioral change and bring about greater social cohesion. To carry out our mission, Re’ut has created two important platforms:

Beit Sefer Re’ut: A school community within which students from diverse religious, social, and cultural backgrounds learn together and find strength in the common commitment to help make the world a better place.
