Intermède : Propos d’une maman rencontrée à Tel Aviv

What a mother of twin boys and twin girls says afer getting the kids from school. It reflects precisely what the vast majority says :

  • Everyone is incredibly nervous after school.
  • Nobody listens to anyone at school.
  • When a kid tells me something important about school, it makes no difference that the kid or I tells the teacher. The teacher DOES NOT listen, and anyway nothing ever changes. I am sure that it is because it is SO comfortable for the teacher to keep everything ever the same. You can call it fear of change, control or leasiness … It feels that people create systems that they can’t ever change.

Conclusion is that I will soon change kids from the school they are. We are just lucky we can afford it.
